Miracle

What is light,
but a luminous glow?
Showing you paths,
letting you go.

Reflecting off water,
up in the sky,
the moon glows- seeming to fly.

The stars that twinkle,
look up high,
such a simple thing,
that lights up the sky.

But look closely,
it's a miraculous thing.
Beautiful, wonderful,
it's everything.

The light in your eye,
reflecting off glass-
everything looks normal,
yet I'm taken aback.

How can something so common,
be so beautiful?
Why can't everything in life,
be such a miracle?
