I want to live,
Instead, it seems that I’m barely surviving.

I want to get out.

I want my crush to love and hold me,
Instead, he kicks and hits me.

I want to get out.

I want my best friend to listen to me,
Instead, she says she does not care.

I want to get out.

I want more friends,
Instead, they seem to be too cool.

I want to get out.

I want to get math,
Instead, it beats my brain into a pulp.

I want to get out.

I want the world to be perfect,
Instead, it just earns more flaws.

I want to get out.

I want to get of my skin and run,
Instead, I stand in my place.

I have to get out.

This is really great. It speeks some of the troubles that i and some of my friends have felt. I love it. Could you read my poem "The Girl"? Im tryin to get it noticed more. Thanks and keep on working on this. Your really good.

This poem reallt spoke to me. So many people really feel like this. If your life is really like this, I suggest you talk to someone about it. I know whenever I feel like this, it always helps to talk to someone you trust. You have a real talent. keep writing!!
