Playfully perched on the precipice of potential,
The congested cloud dangles, its curious head forward.
He exhales one astounded raindrop.
Big toes lean, hearts wean, and corneas see
The adventurous repercussions of realized kinetic energy.
If love can move mountains, hate can halt oceans,
Its power insurmountable,
Its reachable realm unassailable.
Poison pours out of every apology.
I try to forgive but I'm afraid I don't have it in me.
My feet take steps,
but I've stopped breathing breaths.
