Where are the things we fought for?

Freedom of religion is what we came for.
Now it’s not allowed in school anymore.
We started by fighting for our rights.
Now there slipping out of sight.
We once fought for our unity.
Now every person is under scrutiny.
We once fought to be free
Now the future is dim for you and me
