Here's my story,
not filled with glory.
Pain and defeat,
lies and deciet.
I grew up a loner,
dated a s*** load of stoners.
Never loved one,
but my story has only begun.
I fell in love with you,
or your eyes so blue?
You blew smoke in face,
but why did my heart quicken its pace?
You said the words,
I thought I heard singing birds.
You called me names,
but I loved you all the same.
You kissed me with passion,
even though I hardly knew the latest fashion.
You held my hand,
as we walked this earth's land.
You let me sleep on your shoulder,
the softest boulder.
Let me pull your hair,
if I dared.
I rubbed your chest if it hurt,
the words you said in a blurt.
Why say what you don't mean?
Was my love for you, so unseen?
And why do I cry tears of pain,
if I know you're the one to blame?
And why do I die,
if it's with you I want to lie?
I won't die for now,
I'll just take my bow.
I pray one day you'll love me the same,
and we won't have to play this silly game.
Come chase me if you will,
give me your loving thrill.
Make my quill write quicker,
my wrist even sicker.
Lie with me tonight, my Love,
give my heart just one last shove.
And when morning comes,
will you let my tongue run over your gums?
Just one last kiss,
for oh, sweet bliss.
not filled with glory.
