Moon Light Monsters

in the night, in the dark the full moon shines
the monsters lurk in the dark of the night
hiding in the shadows waiting to jump out
barking and shrieking
you can't sleep without being afraid
waiting for them to attack
then you look and you truly know
that the monster was a stray dog
