I am not but a servant of the lord a malevolent soul in search of redemption. With spear and shield I quote these vows his words the weapon his voice the protection. Lead me not unto temptation I chant within. With nothing else to say what do I say at all? For he hath saved me purged my every sin his breath like water trudging over my every desire. He is my one my only the desire I thirst for that light. Just as he walked broken a beaten I walk this road tired and weary. Leather-bound law and vision run deep It will not be easy it will not be quick but I swear to thee I will not give in. this is who I am it’s who I want to be. So I follow him with palms raised and sing that holy chorus o glory o glory to you be the glory. With his majesty beside who can be against for I am not merely another rotting soul for I am not but a servant of the lord
His Majesties Servant
To God be the glory! Great job with this poem. :)
