The sand sitting grittily,
in between my toes,
The lobster red backs,
for millions to see
Green and blue,
the ocean bears the truth,
This is my home
Why did I ever leave this place,
so beautiful and calm
the song of the Siren is screeched in my ear,
by a nearby seagull.
Golden shells crunch under
the feet of those who have put their towels down
Tiny flags mark
the territory of the
little kids
who have made
their castles
This is my home.
The sun raised high,
the sun down low,
this is the place I need
to go.
Why oh why
did I ever leave this
magical,
beautiful,
relaxed,
emotional
place
Of which I call
my home
in between my toes,
The lobster red backs,
for millions to see
Green and blue,
the ocean bears the truth,
This is my home
Why did I ever leave this place,
so beautiful and calm
the song of the Siren is screeched in my ear,
by a nearby seagull.
Golden shells crunch under
the feet of those who have put their towels down
Tiny flags mark
the territory of the
little kids
who have made
their castles
This is my home.
The sun raised high,
the sun down low,
this is the place I need
to go.
Why oh why
did I ever leave this
magical,
beautiful,
relaxed,
emotional
place
Of which I call
my home
