Like a bubble popped into wet splashes
Of liquid hitting her face
Like the sight of maroon blood gushing
From his knee
That was there, happening, an occurance
Which left no trace on the future of tomorrow

As smooth as the pillow I once stroked
Can feel the texture of peanut butter
Glued to my gum
As I feel trapped into what once was
And is now no more

I remember that feeling of longing
That sense of pure joy
When those deep blue eyes were around
We used to stand in the kitchen
And he brushed against my arm

We had the world ahead of us
I nearly jumped into his arms
Like a bee after a sting
It is gone
Though I recall what we had; once.
