Revealed

The day starts dark and quietly
almost peaceful and in harmony
still yet calm then suddenly
everything is off key

dawn has arrived as well as noise
awakened now the trouble starts
ignored is the pain that comes
that is felt deep in its heart

safe is what it feels in the light
protected and loved and happy
deep in the ocean something is wrong
the clouds refuse to let it be seen

as dusk moves in so does sadness
it battles with the lies, it fights
until that moment when desperately
it somehow again finds the light
