Light, shadow
Bridges overturned
Pinched wavelengths extend
Crawl to my cowering brain
It slithers and saunters
Low frequency
Picking at my cracked skin
Pinching the scab and pulling without mercy
Open wound
Blood seeping out of crevices
I cringe further
But the delight of color distracts me
Lava liquid has graced my eyes
I don’t notice the twitching pain
I want more
I rip, thrash
More color, more flame
Time creeps by
My desires vaporize
As I see me now skinless
Bare
Terror strikes me
No more protective vacuum
All because of that damned light
Again, the light lashes
The color seizes my breast
I am bright, powerful
Throbbing and shaking--
I think I like this radiation.
