Oh the Awkwardness of it All

Dear Toe Socks,
why, oh why must you be so…
awkward?
I understand that you
want to be fancy,
with your individual little slots,
making it so difficult to get each toe
into your so called warmth.
Once I finally achieve this task,
you, toe socks, must make it,
awkward
for both you and more importantly, me.
I don’t appreciate you being weird
and plain out, strange.
Thank you, thank you,
toe socks for the torture
you bring me each time I lay my eyes on your…
most uncomfortable stare.
You are and always will be my least
favorite pair of socks, toe socks.
