If the sun shined,
If everyone smiled,
If cars stopped and bikes started,
Life would be happy.
Everyday.
If the moon shined bright,
If the owls arose,
If nightmares stopped, and dreams started,
Life would be sweet.
Everyday.
But cars keep going,
Kids keep screaming,
And the moon breaks in two.
Life is scary.
Everyday.
I keep smiling,
Braving past the blood.
I keep on riding,
Like everyone should.
I keep dreaming
Facing my fears.
I’m always ready.
Everyday.
