Waiting

Misunderstood,

Not being able to speak my
mind.

Wanting to go far away and never look back.

Sad,

On the inside I’m sad

I want to sit down in front
of a mirror

In the dark ,

Thinking,

No interruptions

No one trying to make me happy.

Confused,

I’m confused because I don’t know who I am,

I want to be me ,

Say how I feel

But I keep my feelings in a glass bottle.

Happy,

I’m happy because I know people love me

I have inner peace

Under the confusion, and sadness.

One day making a difference will be part of my daily routine.

I will smile everyday , and be me.

Waiting ,

For the day I can stand up

And be understood,

Happy,

And know exactly what’s going on.
