My Bestfriend

I thought she was my best friend
The best I ever had
We told each other every thing
The day I knew the truth
I was shocked to learn it was all a lie
It was sad but yet true
We were not best friends anymore or like sisters
We use to call each other best friend
But now I know we are far apart
Though we see each other every day
We were talking less and less
I had a broken heart
She had friends so did I
But they were not a best friend
Inside me I felt lonely and sad
Every night I prayed to god
For us to be best friends again
And for her to know how much she means to me
