There is a revolution trapped inside my mind
Potential wasting cracks a whip
Provoking me to release this beast I have contained
It gnaws at the bars
Spitting and growling
Ready to do harm
I notice an innocence somewhere
Inside those angry eyes
It's nice but I know
Innocence cannot be preserved
And any outcome sought
Is undeniably deserved
But I've lost the key
