Dr. Samuel Prescott
This isn't about Paul Revere, not Hancock, Adams, or William, dear.
But it was because of Prescott's fight, that he made it to Concord that night.
Now Hancock and Adams were probably in bed, not even disturbing a single thread,
but Paul Revere was waiting for thee, to shine the lanterns, then row the sea.
To get on the horse he was ready to fight, and thought he would make it to Concord that night.
But no, he didn’t, he didn’t all! In fact he was captured right on the ball!
But Samuel, see, Samuel was smart! He rode on, and rode on, right through the dark!
He made it to Concord without a fall, unlike that other horse rider, Paul.
But wait you say! I don’t remember Prescott’s name! That is because Paul Revere got the fame…
