Where White is Red

Limbs are breaking, disintegrating
Ankles crack, crunch,
Down to the knees
Skeletal Capris
Bone obtrudes severed feet
Do I look a fool to you my sweet?
Face down in the blood
poured to appease, I know
The crimson stains me
Turns, claims soul to ebony
How it dries when something dies,
Carrion for poultry,
Did it rot the
Outer shield, quick to yield
Flesh tore, pained, peeled
Where I had painted,
fragmented with white stone
it's pleasant agony, sweet sultry,
Silent screams of please god help
Just one miracle, Shepherd make sheep
Do I look a fool to you my sweet?
Undeserving tears bite to weep
Lungs tear with "why"
Asking why I can't breathe,
Simple, so divine, so elite
Were my bones white
Like the horse in your mind's cavalry?
No thoughts bled
Were you taken aback to see them so red?
