Chaos and words

The sunbathed flowers in the meadow,
the brilliant golden light form’d at day,
it’s magnificent gift bestowed upon us,
a fairness recognized during nature’s May.

For the few embellished by this display,
What have your eyes set on?
Do the benedictions that you were given been led astray?
If all perished tomorrow, what would be your last say?

A blacken fate matted with iron clasps,
shuttered deep in thoughts of forgotten,
like an inconsolable child no one can reach,
no view ever seen, when thinking of peace
