The Moon and Stars

wasting time while life flies by
looking up at the sky
waitting for the cosmos to re align
and my life to find its peace
staring up at the moon
soaking in its energy
waiting for it to absorb me
the craters in my eyes burn deep into my skull
and i stare until its beauty vanishes
searching for the truth in my eyes
by watching stars fly
wasting time while life flies by
looking at the sky
