Her Voice
Her strawberry blonde curls fell onto her shoulder
Like an angel had placed them there with light fingertips
Those eyes
So brown and loving
Those are the eyes I married
But now they are so heartbroken
When I look deep into them I get lost in emotion
I caused the hurt in her brown eyes
Landing upon the sight of another woman
The woman standing there in my embrace
My lips lustfully kissed the woman's lips
I used the same lips to kiss my wife
But this time her pale pink lips quivered
I let my hand feel down her arm
She did not feel the same
I knew those brown eyes were lost in thought
And then I heard the voice of my ex-wife say
"Good bye"
