small, electronic
lifeline kept inside
my pocket
to squirm
like a child
embarrassed by the
kisses his mother
forced upon his cheek.
letting me know
you missed me
at least a little.
even though i knew
i had left it
on silent.

I checked out your work. I enjoyed it a lot. Keep it up. You have emotion behind your words, and that is needed these days, because everyone has talent, but not power the way you have. You could make it somewhere.

Short and touching. Inspiring. Wonderful.
The way we feel sometimes. Like we want to feel cared about and loved, but yet we hold back the chance to ever really recieve what we want. Then, are we the ones not being loved, or not feeling the love?

I have to disagree, because I dont think it could be better.
I think its good, as is.
Its not a topic I would choose to write about,(I usually go for deeper subject matter) but since you did, I think it came out nicely.
