puffs of sweet fiberglass
dissolve into pink crystals
on the pinnacle of my tongue.

they fall like tickled icicles
puncturing the walls
of my abdomen.

still I consume
the addicting substance,
permitting my body
to slowly commit suicide.

Hey, um are you actually talking about cotton candy? or are you just talking about fiberglass? I honesly did not even know that people even ate fiberglass.

Sweet! I love how you turned cotton candy into a metaphor for drugs (fiber glass does look like cotton candy, doesn't it?) Brilliantly writen! (and if you don't mind, please read some of my poems! Thanks)

Interesting take on cotton candy, cool poem.

Can someone look at my attempts at poetry ("the violinist" and "for what have all these people died",) rate, and comment, please. I need the feedback.

i like how it goes so in depth and inludes so much detail for something simple as cotton candy(:

Sometimes, that girl who seems so strong, who never lets what people say bother her, who smiles and laughs with her friends all the time, is really the girl who, deep down, is falling to pieces.
