The young girl squirms
her heart pounds.
She sees him and adrenaline charges,
her heart races, her hormones pump, her skin sweats,
pleasure receptors seek satisfaction.
We seek out things that scare us;
love and passion.
We gravitate towards males who will gamble with our hearts.
We fear falling in love and yet hang on.
Women have a primitive need for love,
a desire for companionship.
If we knew what was good for us
we would shut down our emotions.
