Favorite Quote:
I’m in love with cities I’ve never been to and people I’ve never met.

In a luscious sleep
I picture summer
And dream to urge it
To push it through the shadows
Into a delirious light
This tiny whisper of time
We call life

I need her gorgeous sun
Who’s light like music
Brings us out of the darkness
Her beauty as enormous as the sea
Overflowing like a steep waterfall

I ache from the want
The need of the sweet wind
To blow through my hair
Hot but smooth on my skin

My eyes open as the dream fades
The sun is gone
And she’s taken her warmth
Cold, stone walls surround me
I’m consumed in a sea of desks

The repeating dream
Lingers in my mind
The ache in my heart
Still yearns for summer
Hoping it will come soon

Used the little "magnetic poetry" strips and spitballed on a white board, then it all took shape.
