Stars litter your eyes when you smile
and when we’re in the dark,
you shine brighter than any light ever could.
Your hair is starlight.
However you manage to be
just ever so wonderful,
astounds my world.
It’s all just a coincidence,
isn’t it?
That you,
Poised in an oh-so eloquent way,
is balanced just right.
And the saddest part is that
none of you glitters for me.
