Thank You

Thank you for babysitting me
For teaching me how to cook
For always staying humble
For not being mean

Thank you for making my childhood fun
For baking cookies in the summer
For taking me to get ice cream

Thank you for being in my life
You taught me to be myself
To not fret over small things
For hugging me when I was sad

Thank you, even though you are not here
I feel that you are
On a hot summers day I remember the trips to DQ
I remember laying outside looking at the sky
I remember those warm hugs
Thank you
