she used to feel like she could fly
there is a perch in the heavens
she carved her name into it
to watch the world below
both godly
to be above them all
and humbled
to see how small a place she had
her wings barely holding her weight
making it lucky she was so small
her weakness became her strength
her fears resolve below her
she used to feel like she could fly
so she tried to fly again
but then she fell
