Dogs chasing sticks on the lawns
Kids playing under the sun
Birds bravely flying in the sky
It’s a beautiful day and I cannot see it
Dogs barking and howling
Kids laughter fills the air
The gentle songs of birds soothe the atmosphere
It’s a beautiful day and I cannot hear it
The aroma of barbecue flies with the wind
Sweet smells of summer flowers all around
The smell of rain to cap it off
It’s a beautiful day and I cannot smell it
These things are overlooked by people
Taken for granted, forgotten
Next time you go outside
Enjoy the beautiful day

This is a poem I wrote because I was bored. The idea struck me, I wanted a poem that helps people realize something. I call my unique poetry "Moetry"-poetry with a morale!
