Fluffy, white and descending from above

Cloud soft and a candy like taste
  Comes beautifully or repulsively
  gracefully or dangerously

The diminutive flakes are never alike
  Some come close
  But never correspond
They dance in the wind while whirling

Like a white blanket covering the land
The snow cloaked everything it could reach
Snow is like a setting option for earth
The best thing between fall and spring
