Feeling the grips of the steering wheel
and the smooth flow of the tires.
Handling the graceful beast
brings relaxation.
All the power is within your grasp
As you sit in its welcoming leather lap.
The risks hide behind the smiles
and loud bass,
waiting to lunge.
And then there is time for
uptight paranoia
internal anxiety
to invade,
slowly seeping into the mind whenever
there is a brief, silent moment in between songs
that are set on shuffle.
