Rome
Created by the rich and powerful.
Corrupted by the rich and powerful,
captured by the poor and weak.

Romulus
The son of a God, founder of an republic.
Slayed uncles, brothers, and kings,
an empire never tarnished, living in it’s birthed stone...

Scipio Africanus
A general for the ages, expanded the glory of Rome.
Unknown by civilians, yet admired by all,
to the honor, and the glory of Rome...

Marcus Crassus
A greedy senator, with wealth to corrupt innocence.
A man, turned Rome from a republic, to an empire,
to the honor and the glory of Rome...

Caligula
A tyrant, an adolescent without guidance.
Led Rome to its downfall, leaving poverty, lingering death in his wake,
to the honor and the glory of Rome...

Romulus Augustulus
A mockery of a king, the last man to rule Rome.
Final piece of Rome, forever a memory, a pale shadow of his predecessors,
an empire to never tarnished, living in it’s birthed stone...

Rome
Built by powerful men, a city turned to ash.
The brave, and honest, overthrown by the corrupt, and greedy,
a city stricken by the pests lurking within.
