What causes sudden lift off, an immediate dispersal?
A splash from the bird like the trail in the sky left behind from a jet.
Majestic.
Does it sound like a jet or a whisper, as the bird takes off?
Beautiful colors of brown and green, helping him to find love.
Extravagant.
The muddy smell of muck fills the air, a repulsive smell of decaying matter.
Yet I shall stay to see what else stirs in these waters.
