Lightning

Striking rapidly
Thunders wicked companion
Lighting up nights sky

Crooked arks with sparks
Silently peaceful warning
Gods bowling tonight

Unfrightening light
Outshining even the stars
Exploding from clouds

Splitting trees in half
Postponing all outdoor sports
Beauty lighting night

I like this Haiku about lightning! All of the stanzas fit well together and you used very good describtive words. Nice job!(:

I really love this, lightning storms are absolutely amazing and so is this striking poem, great work. I love the bit of humor in there also, witht the 'gods are bowling line.' Another fave is 'thunder's wicked companion.' I luvs it!

This piece is amazing. It is so vivid and discriptive. As I read this it put a mind blowing images in my head. I really like when you say exploding from the clouds splitting tears in half, those are my favorite two lines. Also the picture gose along amazingly in every way.

Thank you. I think Lightning is beautiful but powerful, and I tried to put those together in my writing. The imagery of it just came together as I was writing.
