I write this poem to,
Those who hide in the shadows,
And cover their eyes.

Not to brave souls who,
Choose to stand up and fight but,

Even we who stand up and fight can understand what those in the dark feel, we've all been there before, right?

Best thing I have ever read. I really love how you point out the efforts of the people that never get talked about. This seriously an amazing piece of work. I think, if you wanted to, considering your talent, you could make this a novelization really easily.

I disagree with cameronjay with the fact that I think this poem was VERY deep. Wonderful work, crubs3!

I second that! I would love if all haikus were as good as this one. P.S. Could you comment on my haiku, Footprints, please. You would be helping an aspiring writer.

No it doesn't. Poem can be pronounced two different ways. (Pome instead of po-em).

Thank you for explaining this. I didn't know it could be pronounced like that until I started reading the comments this poem got. Beautiful work by the way.

This poem is easy to relate with and very strong. I really like how it's so short but says everything.
