With Veterans day approaching, I decided I should submit this one. Not that good, I think, but at least it is something for the vet who are alive- unlike my grandfather. Hopefully it will get accepted in time.

Thanks :)  I write music, too.  Rock, Metal and Rap, mostly.  I haven't sent any in to Teen Ink, yet, but if people like my poems enough, I think I might.  Do you think I should?

In the books, Jen Talbot is the reason this kid goes on this quest to free illegal children.  I don't want to ruin anything else about them, because they're lame if you don't read them for yourself, or if someone tells you all about them.

I know, it doesn't seem to make sense, but it's just that way sometimes- you miss someone so much, even though you never met them.  RIP Jen Talbot...

(Anyone who has read the Shadow Children books will get that...)

Really good. Ijust feel like the top line should be be broken in to two parts or had an extra coma so it read something like. They gave it,  their all, for us.....That's just my thoughts on it. Anyways I think you did the Vets proud.

My grandma died of cancer when only my two oldest brothers were baby's.....even though I never met her, I miss her  :(
