No one was watching and no one was praying
but what does it matter anyway
and everyone could see as she stepped out of the car
that she hit just a little too too hard

the girls in the back were crying out they're dying
their bodies meshed with the car
you could tell they were hit just a little too too hard

so many dying
so many crying
no one was watching
no one was praying
but what does it matter anyway

I remember the day like it was yesterday
I can hear the squeal of the tires
and the ghost of the screams
the crying out loud
the bust of the seams
they all went flying flying
so high on life but they were dying dying

so many dying
so many crying
no one was watching
no one was praying
but what does it matter anyway

and everyone could see as she stepped out of the car
that she hit just a little too too hard
but what does it matter anyway

the rain poured down
as the night crept in
they closed their eyes for the final time
making a wish and holding each other tight
but what does it matter anyway

so many dying
so many crying
no one was watching
no one was praying
but what does it matter anyway

The author's comments:
May 9 2008 I lost a very dear friend in a car accident. We were childhood best friend and then we started to grow apart but just before she died we started getting close again. I remember the last day she was alive. She smiled at me. and screamed HEY CHELSIES BACK. And then on that rainy foggy night She and another girl died in the car accident. The driver walked away with her life but is she really living anymore?
any way yeah this piece is important to me.

He is here to keep us safe, not scared.

I am really sorry for you, death is hard. As I was reading this I was singing it in my head. Very good for a song and I got a melody to it and everything. I will have to pull out the old six string and play it to my melody. GOOD JOB.

I don't agree, if this is her way of getting out the sadness and pain of losing someone she loved then to me, that's great. I also really liked this and it's very moving.

This was incredble. So beautiful and touching, I couldn't stop reading. The simplistic repetition was perfect, because anyone could imagine. I'm sorry for your loss.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Really, though, this piece was great. If writing is what you love, then keep doing it because im sure that's what she would have wanted. (:(

it almost seems as if you're apathetic about living after your friend. you should live things more for your late friend. sorry if this offends. great piece.
