It happened to me

A tragedy is like
How can it be right?
In this whole world
Why would it happen to me?

I heard about it
My mind was clouded
Misconception
It had to happen to me

But in this life
The horrible
Is inevitable
And in my strife
Beneath it all
Is a long fall

Got to hold on to what I’ve got left

After it’s long gone

That it still happened to me

The pains unending

I keep reliving
What once happened to me
