The Wall

Remember that wall i had to build?
When we first me to protect from all harm,
All of your promises never fulfilled,
I got caught up in your devilish charm.

Well over time the wall would then crumble,
Anger, deceit and all problems let in,
My vision was cloud, my feet start to stumble,
Couldn't get this feeling from under my skin.

But the wall we both had tried to rebuild,
was weaker the it ever was before,
Aspirations were still left unfilled,
I should have known you would walk out the door.

I now have nothing more to build with or give, so
please help me move on, i don't want to relive...
