The Invisibles
We are the ones you never see but always know are there,
We greet you each and every day, but you pass without a care.
We are the silent, the watchers of others; the ones that never matter,
We’re always picked last, and never go passed without declining the social ladder.
We are those who are only there when you want us to be,
The ones that are always pleasant, and passive to what we see.
We are the ones who never argue, who never say you’re wrong,
The ones that are never considered, never thought to belong.
We are those that will watch forever, never minding our place,
That will keep an open mind, and a smile upon our face.
And though the other cliques at school are often quite divisible,
We together stand united, we the school invisibles.
