Coming To Terms

December 30, 2008
By Anonymous

I’m bleeding out
Giving up for good
Each time I help
I lose the ground I stood

Each piece of heart
Each piece of love
Each piece of soul
Brings me closer to above

He calls us home
We know when it’s time
We have a purpose
I’ve found mine

It’s time to accept it
Accept my fate
To embrace it
And clean the slate

It’s time to go home
It’s my time to rise
To go be where I belong
In the heavenly skies

I really like this. Its beautiful. but Remember somewhere out there, there is always something worth living for.

when I read the poem, two ideas came to me: are you writing about death, or about finally opening up and talking? because if one dies, they hardly have a clean slate, but the references to heaven and fate seems like the end.
