Book Review Outline
Book title and author: Marley and Me John Grogan
Title of review: Doggy Tales
Number of stars (1 to 5):

Introduction
In the begging of the book it grabs your attention quickly with a heart felt story about a man and a dog bonding and becoming so close that it’s unreal. Especially considering the age of the author at the time of the story, it’ rare for such a great friendship. Usually a dog and kid is the story, but this time it’s and grown man and his best friend Marley

Description and summary of main points
They got the name Marley from the great singer Bob Marley. Both John and Jenifer Grogan were both journalist, but John became a columnist later in the book. John wrote most of his columns on Marley and his family.

Evaluation
In my opinion this is my favorite book. It has such a heart felt story to it, with a dramatic ending. I’m also a fan of it because it is and autobiography. With out a doubt I would rate this book ten out of ten easily. I would read this book any day of the week!

Conclusion
In the end of the book Marley is still up to his good old tricks, but they realize one day while outside playing that he has trouble coming up the steps to come inside. John figured just fatigue from old age. Sadly Marley’s days were beginning to be counted. He stopped being himself and one afternoon they found him in a barn lying peacefully. There was nothing they could do.

Your final review
This book means a great deal to me considering one of my long time best friend boe a white lab just like Marley passed away days before I read Marley and me for the first time. It helped me connect with another story like the one I was living my self. Marley and Me will always have a place in my heart and will always be my favorite book of all time!
