Book Review Outline
Book title and author: Letters from Rifka, Hesse Karen
Title of review: Rifka’s Life Story
Number of stars (1 to 5): 4/5 Terrific!!
Introduction
The main idea in Letters from Rifka is that Rifka, a very important character, has to travel to America with her Family to escape fighting. The author’s purpose was to give readers an idea of how hard and miserable migrating somewhere was. The reason I picked this book was it’s an inspiring book to read.
Description and summary of main points
The author of this book has been nominated numerous times for book of the year. To people who like to read exciting and adventurous books, you should definitely start trying to find this book! To me, I
The book is fantastic! Many say this book is “inspiring yet adventurous.â€
Evaluation
The family is running away from Russia to the United States to get away from soldiers to take their brothers to the army. The Family of five goes through a lot of trouble with getting diseases, and being split apart. After about two or three years the family is at last reunited, and as quick as a blink they are all living in the land of the free.
Conclusion
Like I had said earlier, Letters from Rifka goes through many problems. She had to encounter things that I would never dream of coming up to. Why don’t you try putting your feet in her shoes, and be as brave, and as heroic as she was. I know that for sure I would have balled my eyes out, because I wouldn’t know what to do. Just like Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, and Letters from Rifka are both about survival, and is actually Historical Fiction (A fictional book based on historical events.) The book reaches all the goals and proves a purpose, because if it wasn’t then it wouldn’t be a n award winning book.
Your final review
Just like I said read the book and find out for yourself. The book is interesting, and enjoys it. I like it, and you should too!
