Number of stars (1 to 5): 4 1/2

Introduction: Holes is an amazing book by Louis Sachar. This book also has some suprises and also always keeps your brain moving. It also is very adventures and very energetic.

Description and summary of main points: This book has one very important main character, and his name in the book is Stanley. Also the book gets real exciting when Stanley meets a new kid named Zero and they become good friends. This book takes place at a Juvenile detention center. During the day time the boys meet up together and have to dig holes in a very deserted area. The warden makes these kids dig holes to try and find a buried treasure and if they find it they get a big prize.

Evaluation: Stanleys Grandfather got cursed and had to pass the family business down to the Warden. This book or movie makes you realize how hard these kids really have to work. The name of this detention center is Camp Green Lake. Zero was the guy that got everybody at this camp but everybody has to work together if they want to escape.

Conclusion: I recommend this book and also the movie. They both have great scenes in them and they are also good for ages 10-and up. This book will also teach you if you make a bad consequence you may have a bad outcome. I recommend everyone to read this book you will have an adventures’ tour.

Your final review: I really enjoyed this book myself. I read this book in sixth grade and every kid in my class enjoyed it and also thought it was an easy book to read. I also suggest this book to any kid that has a heart to read. This book is also very adventures'.
