Title of review: Eldest Written by: Brennan R

Eldest is the second novel in the inheritance cycle written by Christopher Paolini. First of all I highly recommend that you read the first book first Eragon so you can understand the current events. I found this book to be very hard to get away from and when I did I could not resist thinking about it throughout my day. However I am I big fan of the fantasy, adventure genre, so if fantasy is not your cup of tea you probably will not enjoy this book. If you do enjoy adventure I highly recommend this book. The story brings us to the continent of Alagaesia, a land filled with magi. The story picks up shortly after the first with Eragon, and his dragon Saphira. They realize that they are not yet capable of defeating the evil tyrant, Galbatorix, and travel to the eleven land of Du Weldenvarden so Eragon can hone his skills for the battles ahead. While Eragon is gone away the rebel group the Varden have gone to Surda to seek assistance.
I found that this was a very well written book and would most definitely read it in another again. I found the plot to be very immersive, and Christopher Paolini greatly portrayed each character to have a certain personality. Like I said before I greatly suggest this book for those who like adventure with a magical touch
