I Am Legend
I am Legend
In the prologue, we learn that in 2009 there will be a cure for cancer. One or two unintended consequences later, a virus hangs in the air while everyone in Manhattan desperately tries to flee. Lt. Col. Neville (the expert in viruses, weaponry and survival skills) stays behind and tries to find the cure.
“I am Legend” is possibly 2007’s last great movie to be produced. Will Smith does the honors of demonstrating his charismatic presence in a film that rests almost solely on his shoulders. The movie is based off of 1964's Vincent Price film “The Last Man on Earth" and “The Omega Man." Smith does and excellent job on nailing the emotions man might feel after being the only intelligent man left in the city for several years. In closing I give this movie four out of five stars and would highly recommend my friends to see it.
