If you are serious about learning a language, come to one of the nation’s finest language programs, the Center for Language Studies (CLS) at beautiful Beloit College in Wisconsin.
There’s a lot happening in the summer at Beloit College. Current students, as well as visiting college and high school students, live and learn on campus as a part of three different residential programs: Summer Fields, Center for Language Studies’ summer intensive language program, and the new Beloit Blocks. Beloit College students also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of summer research programs.
Center for Language Studies is a four- or eight-week language immersion program in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian or ESL that is open to high school students 17 and older, undergraduate and graduate, and professionals.
Summer Fields is a three-week, for-credit academic program for rising juniors and seniors in high school offering four courses in the humanities and sciences. Courses are taught by Beloit College faculty. Students live in the residential halls with program mentors.
Beloit Blocks are for-credit academic courses for Beloit College students and visiting undergraduate students. The three-week intensive blocks focus on one topic and are taught by Beloit College faculty.
