Right, so this me being a total creeper, commenting on two of your pieces and being the only one for each. But dude, WHY do you keep writing things I don't understand?? I got the other song, and bits and pieces of this one I get, but i completely don't get what the penny and the rake symbolize. Hey there xpurplemacaronix sorry It has taken me so long to reply back. I just recently started using my Teen Ink account again. A penny and a rake doesn't really symbolize anything besides minimum wage and physical labor. I was basically writing about how work consumes alot of people and my frustration for those who want to be doctors or lawyers or coal miners just because it earns them cash.
