Rules:

• You must be a teen (aged 13-19) with a Teen Ink account to enter

• No inappropriate content

• Submissions must relate to the topic (Abstract Artwork)

Guidelines and Details: 

• Your artwork must be abstract/have abstract aspects to it (Abstract Art: "art that does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effects using shapes, forms, colors, and textures." — Oxford Languages)

• Tell what your piece is in the "Brief Description" section of your submission

• There is no limit to the number of pieces you can submit

• Your piece can be made from any medium

How to Submit: 

• Submit entries through our website. All entries submitted to Teen Ink are automatically considered for the contest. See our submission guidelines for more information.

• Include the words "Artwork Contest" and "Abstract" in your submission's tags
  

• Contest entry should be submitted to the "Art/Photo" submission category
  

Prizes: 

• Winner and honorable mentions will have their artwork published in Teen Ink magazine
