Do you know an outstanding educator? Nominate them today! Prizes up to $500 are available. The winning essays will be published in Teen Ink magazine!

Just follow these simple steps to nominate your educator:

1) Create or login to your Teen Ink account

2) Submit your essay to the "Educator of the Year" article category

3) Select "Submit Now" and you're done!

DEADLINE: April 1, 2023


GUIDELINES


Nominee/Educator Information:

- Nominees must work in a middle or high school, grades 8 - 12

- We will collect your nominee's information (name/school/etc.) once we determine a winner. You will need to provide this information when we contact you if you win.

Nominator/Student Information:

- Ensure you frequently check your email that is associated with your Teen Ink account in April and May 2023. We will contact winners this way and will need to get your nominee's contact information from you. Winners will be announced in May 2023.

- Must have a Teen Ink account and be age 13-19 to nominate someone

Essay/Submission:

- No inappropriate content

- Essay should be 250-500 words

- Make sure you submit your essay to the Educator of the Year category. You can find this by selecting "Article" > "Nonfiction" > "Educator of the Year"

- Give examples with specific details for why your nominee should win!
